Welcome to The Chiro Co. community!
Hello, my name is Dr. Jenna Carter, and I look forward to walking alongside you in your health journey. Our goal at The Chiro Co. is to meet you wherever you are currently in your health journey and work together to find a new level of health and healing.
My belief is that we are all a part of God’s divine creation. Our bodies were reverently created with a perfect balance and the innate ability to heal.
Throughout life, our bodies are constantly experiencing stressors, whether physical, chemical, or emotional. However, the greatest stressor is our lack of connection to ourselves. If unable to adapt to these stressors, they appear as stored tension patterns and interfere with the body’s perfect balance and healing ability.
Through Chiropractic, we utilize techniques that allow us to detect and release these areas of stored stress throughout the spine and body. Chiropractic adjustments release these tension patterns and reduce nerve interference, thus bringing the body back into its healthy and natural balance.
I strive for you and your family to reach the fullest expression of health. Healing is possible, and my prayer is that you leave our space feeling more connected to yourself. I am here as His servant to help you better understand your body in order to reach your God-given potential.
In humble service,
Dr. Jenna Carter, D.C.

Frequently Asked Questions
Chiropractor Southlake, TX
What is Chiropractic?
The word “chiropractic” originates from the Greek words cheir (meaning ‘hand’) and praktos (meaning ‘doing’); therefore, its literal meaning is “doing by hand.” Chiropractic is a holistic, alternative medicine that focuses on the nervous system.
We believe that human touch is vital to our nervous system; therefore, we utilize hands-on techniques to detect tension patterns and areas of stored stress throughout the spine and body. From there, we use various adjusting techniques, including manual and gentle, instrument-assisted adjustments using an activator.
Chiropractic aims to improve your nervous system’s function, positively affecting overall health and well-being. When we release these tension patterns and reduce nerve interference, it brings the body back into its healthy and natural balance.
Why should I see a Chiropractor?
How many visits will I need?
Our bodies were reverently designed to provide warning signs when the balance is broken and our health is jeopardized. We would love for consistent chiropractic care to be an integral part of your self-care routine.
Our goal is to help maintain your system’s natural balance by increasing the awareness of your body’s warning signs, and reacting in order to best maintain your health.
As for number of visits, everyone is different. Dr. Jenna will perform an exam during your first visit and provide you with wellness recommendations to get you back on track.
These recommendations are just that, recommendations. This is meant to be a collaborative effort as we partner on the next steps in your health journey.
Do you accept insurance?
Do you accept insurance? We do not take insurance at this time. However, we do accept HAS and FSA payments.
Our care at The Chiro Co. is specifically catered to you and your needs. Insurance often gets in the way of this by depicting what providers can and cannot do. Therefore, we are cash-based, with our prices being very reasonable compared to insurance.
Primary payment methods accepted: debit, credit, check, and cash.
Prefer to pay another way? Contact us today for more information on all the payment methods accepted by The Chiro Co.
Is Chiropractic safe for children?
Most of a child’s nervous system is fully developed by age two. We must assess and release tension patterns and areas of stress within a child’s system while they are still developing.
Chiropractic care can be helpful for children, as it can help to address any misalignments or subluxations in the spine that may be causing problems. Some parents choose to bring their children to a chiropractor to help with issues such as colic, ear infections, and other common childhood conditions.
We want your children to thrive. To do so, we utilize gentle, specific adjustments to help support their rapidly evolving nervous system. Dr. Jenna has had supplemental education on pediatric care, and we offer low-force techniques that are safe for children.
What kind of training does a chiropractor need?
Chiropractors are required to complete a specific course of education and training in order to practice. In the United States, chiropractors must earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
To be accepted into a chiropractic college, applicants typically need to have completed at least 90 semester hours (or equivalent) of undergraduate education, including courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology. Chiropractic college programs typically take four years to complete and include a combination of classroom instruction and clinical experience.
After completing a chiropractic college program, aspiring chiropractors must pass a series of exams in order to be licensed to practice. In the United States, these exams include the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) exam and a state-specific exam. In addition, chiropractors often complete additional training in acupuncture, pediatrics, or sports.
Dr. Jenna has her undergraduate degree in Health Science from Wichita State University. She then attended Parker University, where she underwent a doctoral program and received her doctorate in Chiropractic. She has additional training in acupuncture and pediatrics and has her Webster technique certification.
