Holistic Chiropractor & Acupuncture Grapevine, TX
Hello, my name is Dr. Jenna Carter, owner of The Chiro Co., I look forward to walking alongside you in your acupuncture journey. Our goal at The Chiro Co. is to meet you wherever you are currently in your health journey and work together to find a new level of health and healing.
My belief is that we are all a part of God’s divine creation. Our bodies were reverently created with a perfect balance and the innate ability to heal.
Throughout life, our bodies are constantly experiencing stressors, whether physical, chemical, or emotional. However, the greatest stressor is our lack of connection to ourselves. If unable to adapt to these stressors, they appear as stored tension patterns and interfere with the body’s perfect balance and healing ability.
Through Chiropractic, we utilize techniques that allow us to detect and release these areas of stored stress throughout the spine and body. Chiropractic adjustments release these tension patterns and reduce nerve interference, thus bringing the body back into its healthy and natural balance.
I strive for you and your family to reach the fullest expression of health. Healing is possible, and my prayer is that you leave our space feeling more connected to yourself. I am here as His servant to help you better understand your body in order to reach your God-given potential.
In humble service,
Dr. Jenna Carter, D.C.

Our Offerings
Innate Centered Chiropractic
Through the chiropractic adjustment, we will find and release areas of discontinuity and stored stress. This will allow your body to utilize its innate intelligence and adapt to current and upcoming stressors more effectively. We utilize many different techniques in order to best cater our care to you specifically.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
Our goal through pregnancy and postpartum care is to walk alongside you as you go through this life-changing transition. Your body undergoes many changes throughout this time, and we want you and your little one to reach your fullest expression of health possible. Babies & Kiddos
The majority of a child’s nervous system is fully developed by the age of two. It is vital that we assess and release tension patterns and areas of stress within a child’s system. We want your children to thrive. In order to do so, we utilize gentle, specific adjustments in order to help support their rapidly evolving nervous system.
Acupuncture Grapevine
In addition to the chiropractic adjustment, we also offer acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha. Our goal with acupuncture is to give your body the extra boost it may need to reach healing. We utilize eastern medicine philosophies and cater our care to your life experiences specifically.
Grapevine Acupuncture Specialist – What is Acupuncture?

What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. The idea is that the insertion of an acupuncture needle stimulates a bio-positive reflex response by nerve stimulation.
According to A Manual of Acupuncture, acupuncture originated from Chinese medicine in 476 to 221 B.C. (Deadman).
This technique works by activating specific points on the body that are believed to be connected to the flow of energy, known as qi in traditional Chinese medicine. It is thought that imbalances or blockages in the flow of qi can lead to a range of health problems and that these techniques can help to restore balance and promote healing.
Acupuncture consists of 361 points and 40 extra points. The main 361 points follow meridians throughout the body. There are 12 meridians that go bilaterally, plus conception and governing vessel, equaling 14 meridians. Each meridian consists of anywhere from 7 to 67 points. These meridians are the highway for your Qi. Qi is like energy that flows throughout your body and is a major core idea behind acupuncture. Much like your circulatory system for blood, the meridians circulate your Qi, or energy.
What does acupuncture help with?
Studies have shown that acupuncture can help address over 2,000 conditions, including but not limited to allergies, chronic back pain, depression, digestive problems, headaches, and migraines. At The Chiro Co., we primarily focus on neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including headaches, migraines, back pain, spinal pain, elbow pain, knee pain, TMJ pain, and more! See our blog on the 5 benefits of acupuncture here.
What education is necessary for acupuncture?
Dr. Jenna has had supplemental education on acupuncture. In addition to her chiropractic license, Dr. Jenna Carter completed 100 hours of acupuncture training through Parker University and passed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners’ acupuncture board exam.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment depends on the person, what symptoms you may be experiencing, and how long you have been experiencing them. If you are experiencing more chronic, long-standing symptoms, it may require more sessions compared to something acute. Dr. Jenna will perform a detailed exam on the first visit and provide you with wellness recommendations to help you reach a new level of health and healing.
Acupuncture does require a high frequency of care to see a therapeutic benefit. Therefore, please book the initial acupuncture session when you are fully prepared to commit to 5-10 acupuncture sessions. Ask us about our discounted five-session acupuncture package!
What do I need to do prior to receiving acupuncture treatment?
No preparing necessary! Just be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing to your session.
